Intense is definitely stronger and darker than the original L'Homme, amazing longevity but its projection is "elegant" if you will. It is by far the best performing, but due to its density and performance it's the least versatile. I'd say L'homme is more versatile(day/night/office/multi season) & probably favored by more ladies. Intense is more interesting, mature, & strikes me as more of a night scent. (I haven't worn intense yet, just initial impressions).I have both.
