I found my 226 too wide and big for my frame and for what I carry, so I sold it, and it was also too big for a nice crossbody look on me. The reissue mini was a bit too small for me inside and I sold that although the chain length was awesome. So in my case, I prefer the classic reissue colors (black, grey, white) in the 226 and the metallic seasonal colors in the 225. Although I love the 226 Navy patent. Historically, Coco Chanel created the classic 2.55 in the 225 size because women back then did not carry gigantic bags like they do now. 2. Mar 31, 2013. #4. Got this light grey 14 series 226 and I’m so obsessed with it! It fits a ton without looking bulky. Always wanted a reissue but somehow whenever it comes to the time to make a purchase, I ended up with a jumbo and m/l both in black. medium=226 (similar in size to the jumbo classic flap) 00 USD large=227 (similar in size to the maxi classic flap) 00 USD Chanel usually doesn't refer to 2.55/Reissue sizes by the numbers listed above anymore.
